Hmm. Been a while. But Barbara Cue's on vacation right now, as Todd is back pounding the skins with his day job, that Widespread day job. He'll be seeing a lot of America this year, and America will be hearing a lot from him.
Neff has, of course, been his usual busy self, and there's a great profile of him from Flagpole magazine at http://www.flagpole.com/articles.php?fp=5376. Working with Lona, the Monday Night Recorders, the Chasers most prominently on the live calendar front.
William has enjoyed seeing the last stages of production for the Workhorses of the Entertainment/Recreational Industry album, due out in August on Fundamental Records. A nice writeup from Flagpole can be found here: http://www.flagpole.com/articles.php?fp=5374 There's also a nice blurb (a word that really doesn't get enough attention. Blurb. BLURB.) on the Jack Logan/Monday Nighters project. He also sat in with pals Blood Kin on their recent CD release show at the Georgia Theatre.
We're going to start putting up some new tunes from the side projects on the site. Barb may be on vacation, but there's still live music happening, and some home studio stuff.
Speaking of which, our pal Larry Acquaviva has been invaluable helping keep the band on track with road and studio and fun, and he's also doing some cool home recording work, with William, Neff, Mills and Crumpy, and he's got some other irons in the fire, too. We'll be putting some of those recordings up, too. Maybe movies and art, and commentary from Mr. Larry himself.
And we found some old curios in the attic-see the "Curious Findings" section. This and that.
